In HTML, the <ruby> tag is used for ruby annotation.
- For the representation of East Asian Characters, Ruby Annotations are used.
- Ruby annotations indicated by <ruby> tag are small extra text and this is attached with the main text; the main text indicates the meaning of the corresponding characters.

<ruby>tag is used among two other tags<rt>and<rp>tags - The
<ruby>tag is used for phrasing content. - The
<ruby>tag is a new tag in HTML5
